My name is Andreas Schröer (or Schroeer if your keyboard doesn’t have the “ö”) and I have been in the electric vehicle business since 1998, first in Germany and from 2005 in the United Kingdom. It all started when I bought my first TWIKE (No 60) and the German manufacturer asked me if I would like to become a TWIKE partner, as they didn’t have one in the area I came from. At that time I was still working at Bochum University as a scientist, so I started building up my business in parallel. In 2000 I became full-time self-employed after founding the TWIKE Center Ruhrgebiet.
